Checking PC Client Connections

Example: Using the

ping Command

To send a ping command from your PC to an E5810, open the MS-DOS

window. For example, on Windows 2000, click

Start | Programs |

Accessories | Command Prompt

. When the MS-DOS window opens, type

ping <

IP_address>, where <IP_address> is the IP address of the E5810,

and press the

Enter key. A typical display follows.
