3 Voice Testing with the FrameScope Pro
Each iterations shown is based on the RTCP message exchanged
during the VoIP test.
• The Inter-arrival Jitter, To t a l P ac ke t L o s s , and Packet Loss Ratio
are based on the received RTP packets. Packet Round-trip Delay
is based on the RTCP packet information.
• R-Factor and Mean Opinion Score are based on Inter-arrival Jitter,
Total P acke t Los s , Packet Loss Ratio, and Packet Round-trip Delay.
If no RTCP packet is sent, then Packet Round-trip Delay will set
to zero.
• Total P acke ts Se n t reports the number of packets sent from the
FrameScope Pro.
• Total P acke t Los t is based on RFC 1889/3550 “Cumulative
Number of Packets Lost”.
• Packet Loss Ratio is based on RFC 1889/3550 “Fraction Lost”.
