Replacement Procedure
Fan Replacement
Fan Replacement
Tools Required
• TORX screwdriver, T15 and T20
• Flat edge screwdriver
• A fine stick such as Hex key, 1.5 mm
Removal Procedure
Refer to Figure 6-11 for this procedure.
Step 1. Remove the outer cover as described in “Outer Cover Removal” on page 166.
Step 2. Remove the front panel as described in “Front Panel Removal” on page 167.
Step 3. Disconnect the fan cable (item 1) from the A21 PCI DSP Card.
Step 4. Remove the four rivets (plastic) fastening the fan.
