Self-Test Test

The Self-Test test consists in running the following individual

tests consecutively: Filter Test, Slit Test, Dark Current Test,

Wavelength Calibration test, Intensity test, Holmium Test,

spectral flatness test and ASTM noise test if checked before

starting the Self-test.

Select Single Self-test or Repetitive Self-Test to run the test once

or repetitively. Note that if one of the tests fails for the first cycle,

the second cycle will not be started.

The ASTM noise test determines the detector baseline noise (at

254 nm). It must be performed while pumping water at 1 mL/min.

Results are displayed at screen and also in the maintenance

audit trail:
