Your First Measurement
Making a Measurement
Beginning the
Measurement
1. From the Measurement menu, choose New Measurement.
2. When the Do you want to Perform a New Calibration and
Measurement dialog box appears, click Yes.
3. When the Connect Diagram dialog box appears, connect the 50
Ω
termination, provided with your system, to the Agilent/HP 70420A test
set’s noise input connector. Refer to “Connect Diagram Example” on
page 3-8 for more information about the correct placement of the 50
Ω
termination.
