DATA:ATTRibute:CFACtor?
Syntax
DATA:ATTRibute:CFACtor?
This query returns the crest factor of all data points for the Arbitrary
waveform.
Remarks
Crest factor is the ratio of a signal peak value to its RMS value and will
differ according to waveshape. The crest factor can be computed as
follows:
Crest factor = Vpeak / Vrms
The typical crest factor values for several common waveforms are stated
in the following table:
Example
The following query returns the crest factor of the data points. (Assuming
that the Arbitrary waveform used has a sine waveshape).
