Service

Introduction This section provides troubleshooting, service, and repair information for the

HP 1650B/51B Logic Analyzer. Troubleshooting consists of flowcharts, self- test

descriptions and instructions for use, and signal level tables. The troubleshooting

information is provided to isolate a faulty assembly. When a faulty assembly has

been located, the disassembly/assembly procedures help direct replacement of the

assembly.

Safety Read the Safety Summary at the front of this manual before servicing the

instrument. Before performing any procedure, review it for cautions and warnings.

Warning Maintenance should be performed by trained service personnel aware of

the hazards involved (for example, fire and electric shock). When

maintenance can be performed without power applied, the power cord

should be removed from the instrument.
