Description
This graph indicates the level of phase noise that has been measured for
several potential reference sources. Depending on the sensitivity that is
required at the offset to be measured, a single reference source may suffice
or several different references may be needed to achieve the necessary
sensitivity at different offsets. (Refer to RF Sources in Chapter 6, System
Configuration, for complete specifications of the HP 3048A supported
sources.)
